2-Cyanoethyl Acrylate (stabilized with MEHQ) is an initiator for the polymerization of acrylic and methacrylic esters. It is used in coatings and polymer films, particularly those that require a high degree of hardness and heat resistance. 2-Cyanoethyl Acrylate (stabilized with MEHQ) can be used as a cross-linking agent for the production of polymers, such as polyesters, polyurethanes, epoxies, and silicone rubbers. The product is stable at room temperature.
