Produktinformation
6H-Indoloquinoxaline is a functional theory drug that was synthesized to study the photochemical properties of indole derivatives. It has been shown to be cytotoxic and bind selectively to herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1) in vitro, with binding constants in the low nanomolar range. The structure was elucidated using X-ray crystallography, nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and mass spectrometry. 6H-Indoloquinoxaline has also been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cells infected by HSV-1 in vitro.
