Beschreibung:Butyl oxamate (BO) is a reactive biofuel that is used as an additive to improve the stability of fuels. The oxidative stability of BO-treated fuel was increased by more than 20% in comparison with untreated fuel, and the production of alkoxy radicals decreased by more than 50%. In addition, BO is a good stabilizer for amides. This molecule has been shown to have anticancer properties and can be used as a corrosion inhibitor for hydrochloric acid and carbonyl compounds. BO also has anti-allergic effects due to its ability to inhibit the release of histamine. It is also known to have fatty acid-like properties, including being able to act as an antioxidant and lower cholesterol levels in the blood.
