Beschreibung

Tri-p-tolyl Phosphite is a white crystalline solid with a molecular weight of 154.21. It has a melting point of -150°C and boils at 232°C. Tri-p-tolyl phosphite is a good nucleophile that reacts with many organic compounds, including acrylonitrile, to produce reactive intermediates. These intermediates can then react with the substrates to form new products. The reaction mechanism for tri-p-tolyl phosphite is dependent on the substrate reactant. In some cases, it acts as an electrophile and in others, it acts as a nucleophile.
