Beschreibung

3-Chloropropyl chloroformate is a chemical that is used in the laboratory to cleave C-H bonds. It has been shown to have an affinity for bromodomains, which are protein structures found in the cell nucleus. 3-Chloropropyl chloroformate has also been shown to have a high rate of reaction with carbonic anhydrase, leading to its use as a control experiment in kinetics studies.
