Beschreibung

Cefaloram is a synthetic, broad-spectrum antibiotic that has been used to treat infections caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Cefaloram has shown activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Haemophilus influenzae, and influenza virus. It also has antiviral properties against HIV. Cefaloram is a white crystalline powder that is soluble in methanol and ethanol. The chemical name for cefaloram is 2-[2-(4-chlorophenoxy)ethoxy]ethanol diacetate monohydrate.
