Beschreibung:
Tetrabutylsilane is an inorganic chemical compound that contains four silicon atoms. It has a very high reactivity and is therefore classified as reactive. Tetrabutylsilane can be used to coat the surface of zirconium oxide, which is used in manufacturing semiconductors, to form a protective layer of silicon dioxide (SiO2). The reaction products formed from this process include water vapor and metal ions. Tetrabutylsilane is also a growth inhibitor for some bacteria and fungi, including Candida albicans.
