This compound has been shown to have vasospastic effects in patients with Raynaud's phenomenon or other diseases involving vasospasm. 3-(2',3'-Dimethylphenyl)propionic acid also has thrombotic effects due to its inhibition of blood coagulation factors IIa and Xa.
