Produktinformation
2,5-Dibromobenzene-1,4-diamine is a hydrophobic compound that can be used as a ligand for metal ions. It has been shown to bind to the anion site of the enzyme ATPase, which is involved in the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and participates in cellular energy production. 2,5-Dibromobenzene-1,4-diamine has also been shown to inhibit DNA synthesis by interacting with single-stranded DNA and imidazolate groups. This molecule also exhibits photophysical properties because of its ability to fluoresce. Its quantum efficiency and affinity are also relatively high when compared with other compounds.
