Beschreibung

Tripropylene Glycol Monomethyl Ether is a model system used to study the interactions of methyl ethers, hydroxyl groups, and metal hydroxides. It is synthesized in a reaction between glycol and malonic acid. Tripropylene Glycol Monomethyl Ether has been shown to form acid complexes with inorganic acids such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, or nitric acid. It also forms an ethylene diamine complex with fatty acids, which can be used for experimental purposes.
