Beschreibung:Sodium Cyanoborodeuteride is a macrocyclic inhibitor of ns3 protease. It is used in combination with other anti-HIV drugs to treat HIV infection. Sodium Cyanoborodeuteride binds to the active site of ns3 protease, which blocks the formation of an intramolecular hydrogen bond between the carboxyl group and the hydroxyl group. This inhibits the activity of the enzyme and blocks replication of HIV. Sodium Cyanoborodeuteride also has anticancer properties because it inhibits collagen synthesis by binding to cytosine residues in DNA and RNA.
