Beschreibung

Cephalothin sodium is a molecule that belongs to the group of pharmacological agents. It has been shown to have antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as some fungi. Cephalothin sodium is not active against viruses or protozoa. It was also shown to have no effect on the locomotor activity of mice, but did cause a decrease in erythrocyte sedimentation rates. The compound is used in diagnostic kits for identification of vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (VRE) and has been shown to be an effective treatment for blood disorders caused by immune reactions. This drug has also been shown to be effective at removing organic matter from wastewater.
