Beschreibung

Erythrocentaurin is a natural product found in the plant Pueraria lobata. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of prostaglandins. Erythrocentaurin also has been shown to relieve the symptoms of inflammatory bowel disease in rats, and has been investigated as a potential treatment for human liver diseases such as hepatitis. The structure of erythrocentaurin was determined using analytical methods such as mass spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Erythrocentaurin is an analog of pantothenic acid, a vitamin that is required for normal cell metabolism.
