Beschreibung

20-Deoxyingenol 3-angelate (DG3A) is a triterpene alcohol that is found in the natural environment and can be isolated from Fusarium oxysporum. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of various cancer cells, including those from lung cancer. DG3A is an endogenous compound that is produced by mammalian cells through the conversion of 24-methylenecycloartanol (MCA). The mechanism of action for DG3A has not been fully elucidated, but it may be due to its ability to inhibit cell proliferation.
