Beschreibung:SBE13 is a molecule that inhibits the activity of the proteasome. It has been shown to have anti-cancer effects in vitro and in vivo, with an effective dose for inhibiting cancer cell proliferation at 1 μM. SBE13 binds to the 5-membered heteroaryl ring of plk1 and inhibits its kinase activity. This inhibition leads to decreased phosphorylation of glycogen synthase kinase 3β (GSK3β) and increased phosphorylation of cyclin D1, leading to a decrease in the rate of cell cycle progression. SBE13 also inhibits caco-2 cells proliferation, cervical cancer cells proliferation, and mcf-7 cell growth by interfering with cell cycle progression.
