Beschreibung:This product is designed for the sensitive color detection andidentification of various bacteria, such as pathogenic strains of Listeria, Clostridium, Bacillus and Staphylococcus. 5-Bromo-4-chloro-3-indoxyl myo-inositol-1-phosphate (X-phos-inositol; X-IP) is a chromogenic indicator for phosphatidyl-inositol specific phospholipase C(PI-PLC, EC 4.6.1.13). The colorless product is cleaved by PI-PLC positive microorganisms in liquid media or on solid culture media and yields a blue-green color precipitate.
