Beschreibung

Aminophylline is bronchodilator used for the treatment of respiratory conditions such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This drug inhibits the enzyme phosphodiesterase and as a result of this, cyclic AMP levels are increased allowing for more relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle and dilation of the airway.
