Beschreibung

2-cyclohexyl-4-methylphenol is a surfactant that is produced by the reaction of cyclohexanol with hydrogen chloride. It has a liquid phase and can be used as a catalyst in the liquid phase palladium catalyzed dehydrogenation of ethylbenzene to styrene. 2-cyclohexyl-4-methylphenol is also used in the alkylation process where it serves as a cationic surfactant. This product also has acidic properties and can be used to synthesize mesoporous materials. The high yield and purity of 2-cyclohexyl-4-methylphenol make it an excellent chemical for use in laboratories.
