Beschreibung

2-Hydroxyethyl phosphate-d4 is a molecule that can be used for the study of phosphatases. It is reactive with metal surfaces and has been used in the determination of the hydroxyl group content of polymers. 2-Hydroxyethyl phosphate-d4 inhibits the activity of sulfonic acids and amides, but not inorganic acids. This molecule has shown inhibitory properties against phosphatase enzymes, which may be due to its ability to bind to the hydroxyl groups on water molecules.
