Beschreibung:
5,6,7,8-Tetrahydro-1,6-naphthyridin-2(1H)-one is a cytotoxic agent that has been shown to be an inhibitor of tumor cell growth in research. It also has potential antitumor activity and may be useful as a cytotoxic agent. 5,6,7,8-Tetrahydro-1,6-naphthyridin-2(1H)-one binds to the enzyme esterase in cells and inhibits protein synthesis. This drug also has depressant effects on the nervous system. 5,6,7,8-Tetrahydro-1,6-naphthyridin-2(1H)-one is not active against bacteria or fungi.
