Beschreibung:
Voriconazole is a triazole antifungal that inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, a major component of the fungal cell membrane. Voriconazole has been shown to be effective against C. glabrata and other opportunistic fungi in vitro and in vivo. The optimum concentration for voriconazole is 1-2 µg/ml. Voriconazole has been shown to have no effect on cell viability when used at concentrations as high as 100 µg/ml, but can induce cytotoxicity with benzalkonium chloride or luliconazole.
