Beschreibung

Esonarimod is a chemoattractant protein that is an analogue of the natural chemokine, CXCL12. It has been shown to have a potent effect on the activation and proliferation of T cells. Esonarimod also has anti-inflammatory properties that may be due to its ability to induce apoptosis in inflammatory cells. Esonarimod binds to human serum albumin and is metabolized by esterases present in excretory organs. This drug has also been shown to have pharmacokinetic properties that are similar in humans and rats, which means it can be used as a model for predicting the pharmacokinetics of drug candidates in humans.
