Beschreibung

Fluoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor that is used as an antidepressant and antianxiety drug. It has been shown to inhibit the serotonin reuptake transporter in the presynaptic terminal which allows for sustained levels of 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) in areas of the brain.
