• Beschreibung: Cyclopropylzinc bromide is a nicotinic acetylcholine receptor antagonist that has been shown to have a number of physiological effects. It has been shown to inhibit the enzyme cholinesterase and to be a potent inhibitor of the enzyme tyrosine kinase, which may be used in the treatment of cancer. Cyclopropylzinc bromide also inhibits potassium ion channels and can cause convulsions in rats. In addition, this drug is used as an adjuvant in psychotic disorders, such as trigeminal neuralgia, and has been found to be effective for relief of pain. The stereoisomers of cyclopropylzinc bromide are active at different sites on the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor; they are not interchangeable.
