Cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cyclic GMP) is a guanine nucleotide that is a cellular regulatory agent and is used to increase the levels of various hormones. This molecule is said to increase levels of hormones such as insulin, oxytocin and acetylcholine. Studies have found this molecule to also activate protein kinases.
