Beschreibung:NE 52-QQ57 is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR) and blocks the binding of TNFα to TNFR. It has been shown to inhibit the development of atherosclerotic lesions in mice by preventing the accumulation of macrophages and T cells in the artery wall. NE 52-QQ57 also inhibits tumor growth by inducing apoptosis and cell cycle arrest, which may be due to its ability to inhibit proton production in hypoxic tumor cells. This drug has been shown to be effective against bowel disease, such as inflammatory bowel disease, with t-cell lymphomas being an exception.
