Beschreibung

Pentoxyverine is an antimuscarinic and antitussive drug present in formulations to treat chronic cough, bronchitis, and sinusitis. Although its mechanism is not fully understood, this drug has been shown to act as an agonist at sigma-1 receptors. Also, mice and rat studies have suggested that Pentoxyverine has anticonvulsant properties.
