Beschreibung

(R)-Phenylephrine is a non-selective α1-adrenoceptor agonist that can be used as a bronchodilator or vasopressor. The biological effects of this compound are due to its ability to cause relaxation of smooth muscle cells and increase blood pressure by stimulating alpha-adrenergic receptors in the body. Also, this drug is used to relieve nasal discomfort caused by colds and allergies and is used to relieve sinus congestion and pressure.
