Beschreibung:Pevonedistat is a novel investigational drug that inhibits the neddylation of proteins. It blocks the enzymatic activity of protein neddylation (protein O-glucosyltransferase) and prevents the addition of a sugar molecule to lysine residues in proteins. Pevonedistat has been shown to be an inhibitor against the mcl-1 protein, which is an important regulator of apoptosis. Pevonedistat also targets energy metabolism pathways and signal transduction pathways, and its pharmacological effects are thought to be due to its ability to inhibit these processes.
