Beschreibung:
3,5-Diphenyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole is a heterocyclic organic compound that has been studied for its potential use as a pharmaceutical. It has been found to be an effective inhibitor of blood pressure and cancer in mice. 3,5-Diphenyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole has also shown to have antihypertensive properties in rats by reducing the levels of blood pressure. The molecular modeling studies of this compound have suggested that it may bind to iron ions. 3,5-Diphenyl-1H-1,2,4-triazole is stable under acidic conditions and reacts with hydrochloric acid to produce 1-(3'-chlorophenyl)-3-(3',5'-diphenylphenyl)propane and hydrogen chloride gas.
