Beschreibung

8-Azaguanosine is a potent inhibitor of kinases that has been shown to have anticancer properties. It can be found in urine and is known to inhibit protein synthesis, leading to apoptosis in human cancer cells. This compound has also been studied as an analog of saxagliptin, a diabetes medication that inhibits dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) enzymes. 8-Azaguanosine has been found to be a potent inhibitor of DPP-4, which may contribute to its anticancer effects by blocking the degradation of incretin hormones.
