Beschreibung

2-Amino-3-phenylbutanoic acid is a cyclic peptide that binds to DPP4 receptors. It has been shown to inhibit the binding of DPP4 to dipeptidyl peptidase IV, thereby preventing the breakdown of endogenous peptides, such as glucagon and GLP-1, which are involved in regulation of blood sugar. This drug has biological properties and can be used as a potential experimental model for diabetes mellitus type 2.
