Beschreibung

L-Monapterin is an analog of neopterin, a protein found in human urine that is associated with tumor growth and cancer progression. This compound has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of kinases, which are enzymes involved in cell signaling pathways that regulate cell growth and survival. L-Monapterin has demonstrated anticancer activity in Chinese hamster ovary cells and has been shown to induce apoptosis, or programmed cell death, in cancer cells.
