Beschreibung:
3-Acetyl-4,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid is a potent inhibitor of serine proteases. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of hepatitis C virus (HCV) protease, which is essential for the replication of HCV. 3-Acetyl-4,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid binds to the active site of the HCV protease and inhibits its function, preventing viral replication. This compound also inhibits carboxypeptidase A and B, as well as aminopeptidases N and S.
