Beschreibung

p-Chloromethyl)phosphonic acid is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of polyaromatic compounds. It has an irreversible inhibition effect on the enzyme ethylene diamine oxidase and is used as a biocide in industrial water treatment. p-Chloromethyl)phosphonic acid has been shown to be effective against bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus pyogenes. It also has antimicrobial activity against fungi, such as Aspergillus niger, Candida albicans, and Penicillium chrysogenum. This agent inhibits the growth of microorganisms by reacting with aldehyde groups in their cell walls.
