Produktinformation
- Benzene, (Tri-2-Propen-1-Ylsilyl)-
Triallyl(phenyl)silane is a molecule that contains three allyl groups, one phenyl group, and one silicon atom. It can be synthesized by reacting triflic acid with methyl ethyl silane. Triallyl(phenyl)silane reacts with carbohydrates in the presence of a base to form a covalent bond, which is called chemical ligation. This reaction product can be used for the active targeting of carbohydrate-based drugs or as an encapsulation agent for other drugs. The phenyl groups on triallyl(phenyl)silane are also capable of undergoing allylation reactions, which can be used for drug conjugation.
