Beschreibung

Azaperol is a drug that is used to treat muscle spasms, which are caused by a variety of diseases. It also has been shown to be effective in the treatment of Parkinson's disease and as an aid in the treatment of depression. Azaperol is administered orally or by injection and has a duration of action ranging from 12-24 hours. The drug is metabolized in the liver and excreted mainly through urine. The analytical method for detecting azaperol uses an electrochemical detector with high sensitivity, linear regression analysis, and trifluoroacetic acid (TFA) to separate the metabolites from the original compound. Tissue samples are prepared using tissue culture techniques followed by polyclonal antibodies and chromatography prior to analysis.
