Beschreibung

Dichloro[(S)-(-)-2,2'-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl]palladium(II) is a chemical compound with the formula PdCl(PPh). It is a coordination compound that consists of palladium bound to two dichlorobisbenzene ligands. The compound has been used as an infrared and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopic probe for the detection of aromatic and aliphatic amines. Dichloro[(S)-(-)-2,2'-bis(diphenylphosphino)-1,1'-binaphthyl]palladium(II) is an air-sensitive white solid that is soluble in organic solvents such as diethylether or chloroform. It has a melting point of 128°C and decomposes at 185°C.
