Beschreibung:
Z-Leu-Leu-Leu-amc is a proteolytic agent that has shown neuroprotective and regulatory effects. It has been shown to have apoptotic activity in cell culture, as well as potentiating the oxidative injury that may be due to its ability to inhibit the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway. Z-Leu-Leu-Leu-amc also inhibits spermatozoa motility and has been used for the treatment of human cervical carcinoma. This drug can be used for the treatment of neuronal death caused by cytosolic calcium overload, which is a result of calcium chelators used in cancer chemotherapy.
