Calyxin H is a flavonoid that has hepatoprotective and cytoprotective properties. It was isolated from the plant Calyxin (Calyx Lutea). The structure of this compound was determined by spectroscopic data analysis, which showed that it contains a chalcone. This compound can be found in plants that produce flavanones, phenolic compounds, and flavones.
