• Beschreibung: NM-2201 is a synthetic cannabinoid that has been shown in vivo to bind to and activate the CB1 receptor. This receptor is found in the central nervous system, lungs, liver, and kidneys. In addition, NM-2201 has been shown to possess binding affinities for CB2 receptors, which are found primarily on cells of the immune system. NM-2201 is metabolized by human liver microsomes and rat liver microsomes with similar rates. However, there are slight differences in the metabolic pathways between these two species. The metabolism of NM-2201 was also studied in vitro using human liver S9 fractions, which were able to metabolize the drug via hydroxylation at C8 and oxidation at C3β. Chemical structures of NM-2201 have been determined through the use of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and mass spectrometry analysis.
