FGF13 also has been shown to be an activator of the receptor tyrosine kinase MET, which is important for cell proliferation and differentiation. This protein shows no activity against FGFR3 or FGFR4.FGF13 can be used as a research tool for studying protein interactions and as an antibody for immunoprecipitation or Western blotting.
