• Beschreibung: IL-7 is a colony-stimulating factor that is expressed in the stromal cells of human cells. IL-7 has been shown to have modulatory effects on neutrophils and myeloid cells, which are important for immune responses. IL-7 stimulates phagocytosis and the production of reactive oxygen species by neutrophils and myeloids. IL-7 also has autocrine and paracrine effects on lymphoblasts and amplifies their proliferation. This protein may be used as a tumor marker for some malignant tumors because it can be detected in autocrine loops and in the circulation of patients with cancer.
