Beschreibung

3-(N-Cyclohexylamino)propyltrimethoxysilane is a reactive, unhydride that can be used as a binding agent and cross-linking agent. It reacts with hydrocarbon groups to form silicones and epoxies. 3-(N-Cyclohexylamino)propyltrimethoxysilane binds to reactive groups on the surface of polymers and has been shown to react with carboxylic acid functionalities. The average number of functional groups on this compound is 2.5 per molecule, with carboxylic acid, hydroxyl, and hydrocarbon being the most common functional groups. This chemical will react with an alcohol to form a siloxane bond or an epoxy bond depending on the reaction conditions.
