This linker can be cleaved by hydroxyl radicals, which are generated during radiation therapy. 3-Iodophenyl Isothiocyanate can be used in tumor xenografts or in immunohistochemical assays for quantification of the receptor factor that binds to growth factors or monoclonal antibodies.
