Beschreibung

Cyclohexylamine benzoate is a corrosion inhibitor that has been shown to have synergistic effects when used with monocarboxylic acids and fatty acids. Cyclohexylamine benzoate has been shown to be an inhibitor of corrosion in polymeric matrices, such as polyolefins, polyamides, polyesters, and silicone rubbers. It can be used for the prevention of corrosion on metal surfaces by acting as an inhibitor in the microenvironment. Cyclohexylamine benzoate has been shown to inhibit the reaction of hydroxybenzoic acid (HBA) with water vapor (HO) in the presence of a polymer film. The hydrogen bond between HBA and cyclohexylamine benzoate prevents HBA from reacting with HO and forms a microenvironment where it can be adsorbed onto the surface of the polymer film.
