Beschreibung:
Teprenone is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that is used to treat symptoms of bowel disease. It has been shown to inhibit the enzyme phosphatase, which is involved in the synthesis of adenine nucleotides, and it may have an inhibitory effect on sodium taurocholate (STC) induced pancreatitis. Teprenone has also been used as an experimental model for inflammatory bowel disease. Teprenone inhibits energy metabolism by preventing the oxidation of phospholipids and fatty acids in cells, leading to inflammation.
