Beschreibung

2,6,10-Trimethyl-2,6,10-triazaundecane is a synthetic chemical that belongs to the class of polyols. It is used as an ingredient in sealants and coatings due to its high molecular weight and good thermal stability. 2,6,10-Trimethyl-2,6,10-triazaundecane has been shown to emit light when exposed to radiation from x-rays or ultraviolet light; this phenomenon is known as phosphorescence. This chemical also emits a strong fluorescence in the blue region of the spectrum. Polymers based on 2,6,10-trimethyl-2,6,10-triazaundecane are commercially available for use as optical filters.
