Sodium copper chlorophyllin B is a photoinitiator that has been used in the development of antibacterial vaccines and in the treatment of enteroviral infections. This drug is also effective against gram-positive bacteria and has been shown to be an antimicrobial agent. Studies have shown that this drug can be used as a photosensitizer, which allows it to activate light at wavelengths of 400-700 nm, leading to the production of reactive oxygen species that cause cell death. Sodium copper chlorophyllin B has been shown to be effective against many symptoms caused by virus-induced inflammation, including fever, rash, joint pain, and lymphadenopathy. It also effectively boosts the immune system and kills bacteria that may have developed resistance to other drugs.
