Beschreibung:
1-Benzyl-3-acetamidopyrrolidine is a phospholipid bilayer stabilizer that binds to amines and hydrocarbons. It is used in pharmaceuticals and as an affinity reagent for the purification of type specific narcotics and ionic drugs. 1-Benzyl-3-acetamidopyrrolidine has been shown to be active against Gram negative bacteria and Mycobacterium tuberculosis. This antibiotic is monoprotic, with a high affinity for hydrophobic surfaces, which makes it suitable for use in immobilized monolayers. It also has a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) retention time, which allows it to be used in the purification of polypharmaceuticals. 1-Benzyl-3-acetamidopyrrolidine can be used as an ionophore in HPLC methods.
